We are thrilled to welcome local artist Patricia Stoten to Porters Lodge.
During June we have invited local artist Patricia Stoten to be the first Artist in Residence at Porters Lodge. We will be hosting an exhibition and a series of workshops largely inspired by our amazing garden, during weekends in June.
The exhibition is free to attend and will be held in the Icknield Room from 10am - 4pm on:

WATERCOLOUR WORKSHOP FOR BEGINNERS/IMPROVERS
Tuesday, 2nd July, 10am until 3pm
Discover your artistic inspiration in a one-day, Watercolour for Beginners workshop. Patricia's approach to teaching watercolour is to show you how to use this medium with ease, demonstrating techniques that will allow you to produce work you’re proud of from the start.
INTRO TO PAPER COLLAGE WORKSHOP
Wednesday, 10th July, 10am until 3pm
Paper collage is a very absorbing and almost free hobby. For this workshop Patricia will be using old magazines; weekend supplements are the best. With a few of these and pot of glue you can produce beautiful work whilst enjoying a relaxing process, giving you time away from the world.
